Morocco’s Office of Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE) announced, on Wednesday, that the 300 MW-Gas Turbine Plant of Mohammedia has obtained the ISO 45001 certificate.
The Office noted in a press release that the Mohammedia plant got the certificate as part of the Labor Security System (SMSST), set up in plants under the ONEE Gas Turbine Operations Department.
This certification was obtained following an audit carried out by an internationally renowned certification body, covering “all managerial, operational and support processes of the plant’s activities”.
ISO 45001 is a standard for management systems of occupational health and safety (OHS). It aims to reduce occupational injuries and diseases, and ensure that workplaces are healthy and safe.
