King Mohammed VI praised the partnership existing between Morocco and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
This came during talks between the King and Audrey Azoulay, the Director-General of UNESCO, who came to greet the King, on the sidelines of the inauguration of the new Rabat bus station.
In this context, the King recalled the distinguished cooperation between the UN body and the Kingdom for the intangible cultural heritage preservation and the safeguarding of culture and traditions handed down from one generation to another.
Azoulay welcomed the strategic relationship between UNESCO and the Kingdom of Morocco, noting that Morocco has ratified all UNESCO conventions related to the cultural heritage.
