Libya’s Foreign Minister Najla al-Manqoush hailed, on Tuesday in Fez, Morocco’s “positive role” in ensuring her country’s stabilization.
The Foreign Minister and her Moroccan counterpart Nasser Bourita held talks on the sidelines of the 9th Global Forum for the Alliance of Civilizations, which was held for the first time in the African continent.
The Libyan diplomat said that the Kingdom of Morocco has always played a positive role in supporting the stability process in Libya, and backing the efforts of the national unity government and Libyan institutions, to move forward towards a constitutional basis, awaiting the holding of fair and free elections.
The Foreign Minister highlighted that Libya’s stability is part of the region’s stability, adding that the country will not be stable without the support of our brothers, whether African or Maghreb countries, in addition to the European Union and the Union for the Mediterranean.
