Police Nabs Killer of Three in Northeastern Morocco

Police services in Oujda (Northeastern Morocco) arrested, on Sunday, a male suspect, aged 42, for involvement in the premeditated and attempted murder of four women from the same family.
According to a statement by the National Police (DGSN), the preliminary investigation shows that the suspect broke into his neighbors’ house, and seriously injured with a knife three women aged 76, 45 and 19. The three victims succumbed to their injuries while a fourth was gravely wounded and was rushed to the hospital.
Police officers used their guns to neutralize the suspect, and fired two warning shots before aiming at the killer’s lower limbs.
The suspect is kept under medical surveillance until his condition stabilizes. The public prosecutor ordered a judicial investigation into this triple homicide.
