Ambassador Deborah Lipstadt, US Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism, underscored, on Tuesday in Rabat, Morocco’s role as a partner in fighting anti-Semitism.
In a statement, following talks with Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita, Lipstadt commended Morocco’s efforts to combat anti-Semitism, hatred, and prejudice.
The US diplomat, who is on a visit to the Kingdom, participated on Monday in a reception organized by the US Consulate General and attended by members of the Kingdom’s Jewish community.
Deborah Lipstadt was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on March 30, 2022, as the Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism, with the rank of Ambassador. As Special Envoy, she leads efforts to advance U.S. foreign policy to counter antisemitism throughout the world.
