NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the attack on Poland was not carried out by Russia; rather, it was a Ukrainian air defense system, a fact that was confirmed by the Polish President.
Yesterday, an explosion rocked Prezwodow, Poland, and left two victims, after the fall of a Russian-made S-300 surface-to-air missile in Polish lands.
Russian defense ministry stated that this S-300 belongs to Ukrainian Air Forces.
AP reported that Ukraine’s defense launched missiles intended to counteract a Russian aerial attack, and it is quite likely that one of these missiles landed in Polish territory, adding that it was not a deliberate attack on Poland.
