Turkey rejected US condolences, on Monday, following Taksim blast that claimed the lives of six people and which Ankara blamed on a banned Kurdish group of militants.
“We do not accept the US embassy’s message of condolences. We reject it”, Minister of Interior Suleyman Soylu told media outlets.
He said that the attack against Turkey was carried out by those supporting terrorist groups in northern Syria, adding that “we know the message they wanted Turkey to receive through this attack… we will respond very strongly to it”.
According to the Turkish Interior Minister, the suspect, a woman, is from northern Syria, and received instruction from the PKK/YPG in the northern Syrian city of Ayn Al-Arab/Kobani.
