Some Algerian expatriates staged, on Saturday, a sit-in in Montreal (Canada), in front of Spain’s embassy, to voice their protest against Spanish authorities’ expulsion of two Algerian citizens towards their homeland over terrorism allegations.
They are Mohamed Abdellah (former gendarmerie member) and Mohamed Benhalima (former military member).
The protesters also called for releasing all prisoners of conscience held in Algeria and establishing a civilian state instead of the current military regime.
