The Deputy Secretary General of the Irish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sonja Hyland, was received last week at the Irish Embassy in Rabat and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom, for consultations on bilateral, regional and global issues. The talks focused on the progress of work and the possibility of establishing a new embassy in Morocco. Both sides discussed the possibilities of cooperation in many areas of mutual interest.

Sonja Hyland expressed the willingness of Irland to strengthen the bilateral relations between the Irish Republic and the Moroccan Kingdoma .
