The Algerian presidency stated that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will not be present at the upcoming Arab Summit to be held on November, 1st in Algeria, due to his doctors’ instructions against it.
Saudi Press Agency (SPA) did not mention anything related to his illness.
According to SPA, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have spoken to Abdelmadjid Tebboune of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria in a telephone conversation. The topics discussed by the two leaders were mainly opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.
Moreover, in light of the Algerian information regarding Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman not attending the Arab summit, the statement issued by the Saudi Foreign Ministry on the phone conversation between the two leaders makes no mention of the speculations about the Saudi crown prince’s illness.
