The House of Representatives resumes its work with oral questions on a broad range of issues, particularly those related to the legalization of abortion, the promotion of investment, and public employment policy.
Following the provisions of Article 100 of the Constitution and the requirements of the Council’s rules of procedure from Articles 258 to 272, the Council programmed a plenary meeting this Monday at 3 p.m. allotted for oral questions.
For this October session, the first meeting’s agenda includes 28 questions, 13 of which will be addressed to the Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills, Mr. Younes Sekkouri.
The questions are going to be mainly about “careers and competencies cities”, “protection of enterprises from bankruptcy”, “opportunities and conditions of employment of Moroccan labor abroad”, ” real estate finance operations for micro-enterprises”, “updating the legal framework for employment” and “implementation of the recommendations of the Supreme Audit Institution on employment.”
According to the same agenda, seven questions are going to be addressed to the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Investment, Convergence and the Evaluation of Public Policies, Mohcine Jazouli, on “facilitating the management of the investment community in Morocco”, “government policy on improving the business environment “, “promoting and reforming investment”, “government plans to localize and encourage investment in remote areas”, as well as “enhancement of investment.”
Lastly, 8 questions will be directed to Aouatif Hayar, Minister of Solidarity, Social Inclusion and Family, regarding the “review of legal requirements for abortion”, “care home inmates, charities and vulnerable groups”, “conditions for maternity homes to obtain a license”, as well as “keeping up with women in vulnerable situations”.
