On Thursday, Rabat hosted the opening of the sixth session of the General Assembly of the Atlantic Federation of African News Agencies, with the participation of a number of African news agency officials, experts, media, and communication professionals.
The FAAPA activity report, the 2022-2023 action plan, and the report on the 8th Executive Board Meeting in Dakar will be presented during this two-day General Assembly (Senegal).
This event will also debate the Federation’s Report and data on its website, as well as ideas on the review seminars of the Financial Report, the Regulation of the FAAPA Grand Prix, the Amendment of the Federation’s Statutes, as well as the election of members of its Executive Board.
The FAAPA 2020–2021 Grand Prix for the best article, best video report, and best photo will also be awarded at the General Assembly, along with the signing of other cooperation and cooperation agreements.
A seminar with the title “Post-Covid: Challenges and Opportunities for African News Agencies” will also be held as part of this meeting’s agenda.
