On October 4th, and following France’s visa restrictions on Moroccan citizens, the Moroccan League for the Defence of Human Rights issued a statement calling for the mobilization of associations and unions to protest in front of the EU delegation in Morocco. The league denounces “several abuses of the right of movement that visa applicants have been experiencing.” Resorting to protesting in front of the EU delegation headquarters marks escalation in Morocco-France tensions on the visa restrictions issue.
